Any better at stopping? Just be careful what cleaning chemicals you use on your wheels, my mate had these calipers and they looked terrible in only 3 months.

They feel good at slow speed, haven't been out on the road yet as it's SORNed at the moment. Will report back when it's taxed Thumbs Up

I use acid free wheel cleaner at the moment as its fast and easy. Have recently been thinking about switching to fallout remover such as Merlin Blood anyway as it supposedly safe for all finishes Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Thanks chaps Bow down

Having eyeballed the rear brakes. I think the original fronts may fit in the rear (so 4 pot vented) obviously this may cause too much fluid movement and therefore too much pedal travel.

Will run it as is for a while though Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

really do fill the wheel out those discs do! you could have fitted HD drive flanges Whistle
As for rear brakes i would just give them a disk and pad upgrade, Might be a little bit over kill if you have beefed up fronts. Thumbs Up Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

LOF do a 4 pot rear conversion that matches the front. Might end up with those yet Laughing

I tax all of my vehicles yearly - however as I haven't been going anywhere I SORNed everything at the end of March as it seemed a waste to have them sat taxed and not going anywhere Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

you need to get cold bite pads, what made you choose these over the AP kit from Ian? Looks to the same kit that Luke has just branded? Andy

I did choose cold bite pads, no sense in having big brakes if the first few applications are worse than standard Thumbs Up

I chose these over AP, works or bowler etc purely on cost. I can't see why they won't deliver similar performance for £3000 less than works brakes and £2000 less than the bowler setup.

Time will tell I'm sure, but I'm happy for now Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

For sure! I'll post an update when they're fully bedded in Thumbs Up

When I was talking to Luke he said for a 90 just fronts should be sufficient but a 110 really benefits from their rear setup as well. That probably won't stop me getting the rears eventually though Rolling with laughter

Another advantage to the LOF ones is that they have a wide variety of colours available Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Sure you won’t be disappointed Grafty!! Very Happy

Looks like Luke‘s supplier is PBbrakes. I have been running a set of their 8 pot brakes for around 3 years now with no complaints. A whole lot better than standard, with great cold bite. Not saying they're on AP or Alcon's performance level but at less than half the price for 80% of the performance - ill take that!

Dan is great at PB and has connections with drifting and time attack teams worldwide. 1989 90 4.3 V8

Thats good new Matt, I'll update with my honest opinion when they're fully bedded in Thumbs Up

Centre diff is already in a fully uprated transfer box (Ashcroft ATB)

Front and rear diffs will be uprated at some point, slightly lower on the priority list as they'll be an upgrade on failure item Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
