MWD, please email me at brendan@4x4overlander,com with your name and address, phone number etc so we can resolve this matter. An invoice number would be useful but not essential.

I will direct Peter at Nakatanenga to this thread for his input.

IF ANYONE has an issue with an item we have supplied please let us know. Just send us an email with photos if possible, plus name/address/when bought etc and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

If we do not know about the issue we simply can not try and resolve the issue.

Brendan

Brendan, thank you for your response. I've emailed you this morning.

Thanks Jomara,

Maybe I'll do another run on them after all? I had to change the spec as the first one at 3mm thick would have increased fuel consumption due to weight and was a complete b45t4rd to bend. It was good whilst it lasted and they sold like hot cakes! I can remember somebody trying to grasp a slice of the 'revenue pie' even then due to their success?

I will not enter into any 'peeing competitions' or impinge with Site Sponsors and/or their attempt at making a living. Nevertheless just a reminder these were 2mm thick and the price quoted by 'pm' included postage and packaging - not a bad deal in my book. This was the last run on them. I was glad to be of service and am pleased that everybody was impressed with the workmanship and quality, it was also a niche in the marketplace which enabled me to clear a couple of items off my wish-list, which is I hasten to add still as long as ever. I have now sold the lot and thank you all for your interest.

Are we sure this is a Nak product? looks like the hole cutout is a different shape to the Nak one fitted to mine...

These cutout holes appear square, whereas the holes in my Nak grill are oval... just a thought

That photograph of a grill put up by Mwd is a Nakatanenga grill. Yes it is a different pattern to the other photographs of different Nakatanenga grill.

A replacement grill has been sent to Mwd today.

I do not have an explanation for why this has happened and will not give any BS explanation of what has happened. When we get it back we will send it back to Germany so they can inspect and try to understand

Please note if anyone has an issue with an item supplied by us at 4x4overlander please let us know as soon as possible and if it is a reasonable issue we will do our best to resolve the issue.

Kudos Thumbs Up

Sadly the old fix it yourself nature of Defender ownership seems to be a diminishing art. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.

I rubbed mine down and repainted but using zinga so it should not rust again followed by extreme chassis black from frosts and stainless hex bolts. Looks stunning.

May I ask what fixings (specification) you used to attach it and where you got them from? Thanks.

To me, they look like M5 security head stainless steel bolts, probably about 1.5cm long.

They are available lots of places, e.g.:

https://www.securitysafetyproducts.co.uk/s...s-fixings/

I used them for my Heritage mud flaps... don't want them going walkies!! YOLO... You Only Live Once...

Did anyone have any grief drilling out the old pop rivets. I’m using cobalt drill bits but they are as stubborn as anything.

Any tips?
