EGR stuck open could cause a lack of power too. Although likely to put up the MIL or log a DTC though which I assume you've not had. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Small loss of coolant can cause EMS to kick into limp home mode. Temp drops and then full power again.

IF, and I repeat if you have a small loss of coolant do not be fobbed off with main dealer saying it is a weak pressure cap.

Yes they will replace pressure cap foc, however you may have a more serious problem such as a head gasket job.

IF you just loss power under load, I.e. hills/towing briefly for less then 30 seconds and NO apparent temperature rise with a small loss of coolant I would strong suspect head gasket.

Yes I have that tshirt!

Karlos, I'd fill it up with coolant, preferrably bright blue as if you do have a leak it'll be easier to spot!

Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!
