I use Yamaha 2 stroke outboard oil in both my TD5 and Puma and find an improvement in noise with both vehicles. It aint cheap but I buy lots for my boat.

Mine used to do this, found it to be the clutch, the dreded death rattle. Since the cluch change no noise.

I do 200/1 and use Yamaha outboard oil on both my TD5 and Puma. Yes both seem to run better and make less noise. No smoke and smell lots better. I would not run either without again.

Took mine in today to sort. Will report when they return it. I also have a caster issue, slight pull left that i want fixed, doesn't annoy around the city but on long trips its a pain.

Mine does the miss like thing only when cold and when throttle used very lighyly at very low rpm. EGR was replaced last month, not that that means anything.
