Good choice. If you want to give them some proper abuse they do some designed to be struck with a hammer. Great to break the seal and get the screwdriver nicely seated in a rusty/painted screw

You did check that the central washer hadn't become stuck to the housing? It's possible to accidentally double them up and then you don't get a great seal. |

Underneath on the D3 are steel chassis rails giving lots of jacking options. Wondering where to lift the Defender.

It's as clear as mud. MAM is the maximum the vehicle and trailer CAN weigh, not does weigh.
