I would think they are ok as they dont have a v shaped/sharp edge, just remember you only have to nip them up to stop the brake fluid dripping dont overdo it.

Just to echo what Landy Andy has said i chose to get the Lof brake kit as it was a lot cheaper than genuine landrover parts ( the green oval tax )
In my case it was the Lof pads that were not workin ... |

final update, Ebc green stuff pads bedded in and i can now lock up all 4 brakes in the dry with out having to really stamp on the pedal so i now have nice powerful brakes and lots of feedback.

Bluest, took the new pads out and put sandpaper in between the pads rubbed together to take off some material and thought i cleaned them up, no difference.
