I have a pair of 3hp 1ph units here. One is direct drive and the other belt drive.
My advice would be to make certain you get a belt driven unit. |

Id get a galvanized one and paint it.
Bumpers take abuse from all sorts - not only actual landrover use, but also people in car parks etc.

As above, you only need two electrical items to start a standard 300 -
(Some later 300s, mostly automatics I think, had different injection pumps)

Just to be sure - the bulkhead had an eyelet on the right hand side that stabilizes the steering column.

have seen them on a few rigs, never seen the point as the weight is high up, a lot of strain on the gutter edge as well.pain in the arse to fill it and lift it up etc.
