Front pads are the same 90 and 110. Rears are different, 90s have smaller pistons in different calipers.

Whatever you get I'd recommend you get one fluorosil lined. It's in quite a warm spot and you may get some oil in the air. That'll make it soft and sqishy if not lined. ( From experience)

I would agree, glow plugs have to be a suspect and are easily checked for power getting to them, and continuity

The clutch plate fitted backwards can cause these kind of symptoms, are you sure it went in the right way round?
