Malta
Hello
i was told such pipes do not like to be warmed up because of age. I have sourced a used plastic connector from the discovery but it looks quite shorter when compared to the defender one.

I was about to try heat the pipe and press it (with some of the outer rubber layer removed as it would foul against the green clip.

I am concerned now as it has been sitting for a week Sad

hi, I managed to obtain a non defender connector (from a european engine) it is had 3 barbs and as long as the one that i removed. I managed to press it in the pipe but i kinked the pine in one instance Sad will see how it goes. so far it is running fine. It an 8mm OD connector not the 7.89mm. i managed to push it in the pump from the hatch above.
