Good luck. It’ll be somewhere.

As I said earlier, check your fuses. It'll be something related to the alarm. Darren

That’s interesting Ian and would be a nice easy fix! Haven’t changed the battery in a while. I’ll try the spare set tonight.

It might be that both indicators don’t flash with a low battery, but I just can’t remember...worth a punt

Tried the spare set to no avail! Will start checking the wiring.

Checked the lamp connections and all OK. Looking at the drawings, the 0V is common whether the signal comes from the indicator stalk, hazard warning switch, or the alarm system. It works OK via the first 2 with the engineer not running so must be the signal from the alarm system. I will test the output on pin 1 on the ECU alarm module and then go from there. Anyone got any ideas where this module is?!

Remove the loudspeaker under the steering wheel.

It’s not unknown for wet to get there, and we have had a lot of rain.
So keep an eye out for wet or pin corrosion. ____\We|Will|Win/___ ____/🇬🇧🇺🇸\____ _//*⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰*\\_ |

The component called the alarm ECU on the diagram you posted is either a Lucas 10AS (Green) or one of the 2 later ALM ECU’s (black). They are different but the input and output wiring is the same and they are in the same location.
That location is in the driver footwell above the pedals to the right of centre. You can see and gain access to it by removing the divers footwell speaker. Remotekey have some useful pictures showing location and connectors https://remotekey.co.uk/land-rover-keys-re...larm-ecus/ |

Had a quick look this morning. Found the connection and it looks like there might have been an element water ingress. However I couldn’t get a test probe onto it without resorting to contortionist movements, and my back is goosed at the moment so it will have to wait.

Yes, I know the exact area you mean and it’s be all to easy to do your back in getting at it too! A real pain of an angle.
Damp can be a real problem. ____\We|Will|Win/___ ____/🇬🇧🇺🇸\____ _//*⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰*\\_ |
