Propshaft end
After my prop dismantled itself yesterday I am a little nervous about reusing the sliding spline end. It clattered around on the road for a while before I could stop and remove it. My worry is that I buy a new flange, fit a new UJ and then this bit fails.

Rest of the prop is sound so seems a bit of a waste to buy a while new one.

The only ones I could find were a Bearmach one https://www.bearmach.com/product/propshaft...gLPU_D_BwE
Or one from John craddock : https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/262468-g...mm-uj.html

Would these suit? Not sure of all splines would be the same. Any other suggestions for a source?

Thanks.

If it fits snugly on the splines I would crack test it and replace the universal.

It should be 100% then.

Not much of it left to diagnose Smile could well have been a circlip failure. I will double double check them next time around.

If you can do without it for a few days send it to a prop shaft specialist, such as Bailey Morris who will check it, fit new universal joints, and then balance it. Good as new, if not better than many that you can buy.
