Central locking fault?
One of the door lock actuators could be on its way out or wiring. |

You get a noise from the egr valve doing its then when turning engine off. I canβt think of anything else.

The only time I get a beep / chime is when I am running low on fuel. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

I don't think that there's anything fitted as standard on a 2007 Puma which would do this, so I'd be looking for something aftermarket, possibly entertainment system or alarm.
The well-discussed EGR noise (search the forum) is hard to mistake for a beep or ding. |

I wish mine beeped when I leave the lights on!
I'm forever having to unlock it again to turn the lights off! |

Easy to fit one of these and you will have a buzzer to remind you when ignition off, lights on, and door open. https://www.carbuilder.com/uk/lights-left-...gLYFfD_BwE |

Have a look at the link below. I fitted a relay and buzzer from an auction type site. Added a press switch from Halfords. Awesome cheap setup to gently remind me I have left the lights on!

I find the fact the light switch is so near the ignition switch makes it know that the lights are on.

Haha. The lights are so poor you barely notice them as on!

Luckily the LED lights draw so little power that even after leaving on for 24 hour mine still started > 110 XS Double Cab
