p1010 help
we have a 110 defender 2.2 whit a p0101 fault code that comes up and engine management light comes on. the fault only hapens after de acceleration after overtaking. replaced most parts that are common faults and checked hoses but sill have problem, checked intercooler and looks ok , help

mass air flow sensor is outside of the manufacturer's specified range.

Changed that when we replaced the egr valve, absolutely stumped now

Loom failed over engine block, or rubbed through near rear corner lifting eye? (if its there on a 2,2?)

Mass air fault
Finally sorted. Out mass air flow code fault.
One on the simplest and overlooked items on the engine. The poor quality. Jubilee clips holding the pipes from the engine to the intercooler had stripper the threads and was allowing a small amount of air vacuum into the system which was triggering the sensor to trip in. Replaced all jubilee clips on. The engine with heavy duty ones and problem now. Solved
