Replacement For Odyessy PC1750
Hi Guy's,

Can you recommend a battery to replace my PC1750, at 3 years old it will no longer hold a charge Shocked rather disappointing.

Is there a better alternative?

Thanks - Ben

Have you been putting a charger on it once a year since installing it?
That is what they recommend. A quality charger like a Cteck.

When I sold my 90 it was still running on the original battery with no signs of weakness. Over 10 years old.

At 3 years you should be within the warranty on Odyssey

I have a completely unscientific theory about these premature Odyssey and Optima failures. They are AGM type batteries being charged in vehicles designed for flooded batteries. The required charge voltage and profile is probably not there and leads to early failure. I know they put it on a charger periodically, but if they are spending most of the time not properly charged it may not be enough. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I thought that was commercial, and personal use was 3-4 years, can’t be bothered to look it up and check though 😉

I have a split charge system on my 110. Odysee fitted, but I've killed 2 aux batts. The main batt is fine but the aux seems to be killed by the split charge system.
If I keep the 110 I'll be looking at changing both batts in the future, can't keep spending out on expensive batts that keep dieing 110 D250 SE HT
