Central locking wiring
Gents

I am in the process of fitting Landrover original equipment central locking to my 110 and the stupid question today is:

What route does the central locking wiring take inside the door.

What I mean is does the wiring sit on the inside of the inner door panel, facing the door shell or does it sit on the outside
Of the inner door panel towards the door card.

If it sits toward the door, it is mighty close to the electric window regulators bit it doesn’t seem to stretch to the other side
( although I may be wrong ). I know that it sounds like I have just answered my own question but I don’t want to fit the door cards and find I have it the wrong way round.

Yes, they are 2 different doors but just as an example.

You can see the 2 cable ties I have added in the first picture to keep the wiring away from the regulator.

Advice is appreciated.

Hi

Thank you, Mr. Paul.

Would you know to inform me if the photo posted by Mr. Rosco is of a Defender that follows the original factory standard or if this car came equipped with a factory electric lock and electric windows or was it an adaptation?

The question seems silly but I never saw what the standard factory installation looks like

Apart from the 'Dynamat' sound proofing, the rest looks like a factory installation. Paul.
