Thank you everyone for the response and feedback. It is much appreciated.

JLR's technical response was each car is different and will sit different (how that makes sense I am not sure).
I sent them a picture of the new springs next to the original (old) ones and their response was I can't compare new springs to old, worn out springs....however, the vehicle only has 15,000 km.
Really seems like they don't want to own up to the issue. I told them their response was not acceptable and they are investigating further.

Here is a photo of the original 2015 front springs vs Classic Works. Considerable diference in height on the front. Apparently (according to the invoice this is Part # LR135108 ).

It’s a really poor response from them. Clearly the spring is shorter!! I feel for you, clearly it must put a downer in what were no doubt some hefty improvement bills.

Which is correct P/N at least.

You should measure the wheel centre to arch eyebrow distance with the car sat on flat level ground. Speak to JLR and ask them to get the classic works team to confirm what that measurement should be for a puma engined car. I’d be tempted to ask for the measurement without providing yours. It’s a standard measurement that should be present and will have an acceptable tolerance range on it, e.g. +\- 15mm or similar. Unless they’ve been unusually cowboy someone will have that info.

It could be a bad batch of springs, if you can’t get a good response from them I’d be tempted to go back to standard springs and ask for a refund on the classic works springs. The upgraded dampers will still improve the ride and handling even with standard springs. 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

Sadly it also seem to be a very typical response from them. "You're only a customer, you can't possibly be right or know what you're talking about"!

It seems odd that the the new spring is so much shorter uncompressed and the material is thinner suggesting softer. A shorter and softer spring I would think would have exactly the effect you've experienced. To my mind something isn't right.

OPs vehicle looks to be maybe 60mm lower?

It doesn’t look right to me - compare the following two piccies, yes one is a station wagon and the other is a soft top - so there is likely to be a difference with the rear ride height - but not that amount on the front - something isn’t right imho

Works V8 is lower I thought that was a given, strange that the rears look the same.
Look for pictures of a Boeler set, to compare as they also do a 2” lower kit I think..

Yes, exactly.
When you compare V8 Classic Works pictures, the ride height appears basically the same as stock.
Land Rover promoted this suspension upgrade as improved on-road handling with still maintaining off-road performance.
Clearly not the case here.

Really grateful for how amazing this forum is.

Will wait for an update on Monday from LR Classic (hopefully).

Accessories kit is intended to stand about the same as a Works V8, which is a little lower and a more level than most standard Defenders. As previous commentators have correctly stated , the Works TDCi front springs are different to the Works V8 front springs; to allow for the difference in weight distribution.

Did you use the spacer in the kit? If so on which corner? What is the GVW rating of your vehicle? Was the original suspension standard or heavy duty?
