JVC KW-M7 loosing DAB stations
I’ve got the double din JVC. It’s great but I keep loosing the saved DAB stations. Am I right this is because it’s using a switched rather than perm feed?

You need both a switched live and permanent live for standby.

Are you losing all settings or just noticing DAB stations?

Best way is to check that colours match to the rear, it could be that perm 12v and switched need swapping but you would need to check this. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Good luck. Thumbs Up

If your Defender is 2007 - 2012. The LR loom will be DIN ISO harmonised. (Standardised.) colours.
The wiring diagrams for this is readily available online on a goodly photo search or similar search.

If it's not wiring colours, there could be an issue with interpherence or picking up signal etc.
I think you are right to check wiring colours first. Thumbs Up Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
