Just had a really good trawl through this thread. Some really nice bits on this one!

How do they feel?

Really nice, id say they are more controlled then before, dont know if its dampers / springs but the overall package is a lot more controlled as in it tracks the ground much better rather than packing up quick.

Say if you hit a set of large pot holes previous setup would feel a bit out of control, this just breezes over them... rolls slightly more but I can play with the low speed on the shocks to sort that.

Can you “adjust” them as they have the separate reservoirs to raise the stern? 2015 HT XS 90

No, ride height only by the springs... low speed compression (from my mtb experience) is slow movement like rolling in corners, high speed which is set is fast movement like hitting a pot hole...

Those rear springs look too low to me. Unless you are going for the lowered look and the fronts are too high?

Are you sure they were a matching set of 4? WARNING.

Part numbers check out... I do feel the rear is too low also... will get on the ramp tomorrow for a poke about.

got tracking at 10am so hopefully they can take some pics running out of time to get on my ramp.

If anything sitting a little higher is better for me, you see more of the shocks/ adrenaline 4x4 turrets... looks super cool.

So whilst drifting around for the last 6 months i've accumulated a few things to fit / do when im back

starting to forget what ive ordered and bought so thought id keep track here

fit new air con condensor
nugget stuff air intake
genuine XS side steps - Old ones dont fit with bowler sills
Genuine XS sides (convert to a CSW without seats)
YRM seals tub to sides
YRM stainless washers for rear shocks
Billet washer outlet
new windscreen wipers
stainless brake hose kit
Relocate my 2 amps 9hertz HDP4 and HDP1)
Fox roost shields

off to alive to have the ride height sorted, i had thought about just fitting these but with the paint rubbing off after 100 miles i'd prefer different rear springs https://gwynlewis4x4.co.uk/product/1-12-inch-rear-spring-spacers/

That’s quite a list! Do you even know when you’ll be back?

Where did you get the fox roost shields? I’ve had no luck at all finding them in the UK?

Yeah, eager to get on with it.

For now, we are sending the non essential crew home... for the rest of us nothing yet... weird having 280 people in a ship designed for 8880.

We’ve been hit by the tail end of Andrew for the last few days, got some good pics..

The roost shields try ‘prolinx’ they are the fox importers, they helped me out with some washers that are needed to try adapt them to fit... I haven’t looked into it yet I’ll make it work somehow

Well I got back on dry land around 10 days ago now,

went out to alive to sort the rear springs anyhow few limp modes on the way down, turns out the turbo actuator was seized so hybrid off and for a rebuild... took it apart and one of the vanes was stuck managed to get it free but still didn't trust it

anyway gave me some time to sort the roost shields and put the rear windows in...

some modification needed to get these to work,

and windows... I prefer the look and being able to see in the blind spot, finishes with Masai 4x4 alcantara in Stornaway grey
