Mods are not frowned upon, i think some of the comments are being taken the wrong way. Mods are fine, but people need to realise that they don’t add thousands in value to their vehicles. In most cases, they can have the opposite effect. 2006 TD5110 station wagon

Hey, I spent an obscene amount on mine, then painted it with a roller, I’m far from angelic.

And first to admit it.

So, let’s be more helpful.....
Here’s my suggestions to HELP the seller and a reason for my ‘nice mudflaps’ comment, maybe address these, ask Martin to delete the thread and start agin.
The mudflap brackets, it may be worth either fitting full mudflaps, or removing the leftover brackets. As they are still there, it SUGGESTS that they are corroded on, or the rivnuts are spinning in the crossmember..... suggesting that the seller gave up on it and leaving potential buyers thinking ‘what else is half assed’.

The bolts across the rear crossmember holding the tub are not all the same, looks like stainless bolts were added, but PERHAPS corrosion made the job a right nightmare, so they gave up on completing the job properly.

To be honest, I can see past the tyres, bush wires, spot lights and other trinkety stuff, they can easily be be removedif it’s not your bag.
It’s a late td5 after all, which I think are THE best Defenders made.

It is after all priced at a premium. It should be a premium product.

My only question is how can it be a "station wagon" with a military coloured canvas with no side windows in it?

As time goes by and the Landy doesn't sell, then I am sure the price will fall.

Good luck at £23k, if it sells for that then you have done very well.

The attraction of Defenders is that every single one is different and the mods to this one certainly make it stand out. I will remember to make sure my tyres are inside the arches when I come to sell it Laughing

Interesting to see the price this sells at for a soft top TD5 Very Happy Good luck! Instagram - @Land_Rover_Defender
