yeah I am really got into this one, I have couple of things ordered off, I cannot change the oil sadly, this one has more oil in than my oil pan can take sadly. Shocked so I have had to order a larger one off, also an EGR valve delete Very Happy Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Aww... Im still wondering if i should have gone for a TD5.......
Alan is still active and will be more so once the daily car goes back in a couple of weeks.. I have a couple of jobs to catch up with.. central locking has failed again.. .. DAB aerial.. a rattle/bump has surfaced..... etc.. but the house is taking up all my spare time still..... hopefully get round to it soon.... Thumbs Up 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

great to hear alan is still rocking on! I would treat alan to remover able boss like what I have. just to keep him safe. You can rock any wheel you like. but its to keep him safe! Last thing I want to here that alan has been taken.
Here is a little thing for you, Why not rock a TD5 as a daily and keep Alan as a second motor? As for those rattles, that's what its all about Laughing Peugeot is the same Laughing
I would rebuild a 300 TDI defender, that was an idea I had with my old one, I may even rebuild this one some point down the line. Smile Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

cheers.. I already have the removable steering wheel and twisty turny orange thing.. I wish I could just get another but the house is draining all my pennies... I managed to spend a bit of time on alan and the central locking now works Thumbs Up 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

yeah EGR delete time Very Happy I thought about ditching off the cooler too, but that means I will have to find a T piece that doesn't have the sections going to the cooler. But anyway its blanked off now.

Has it made a difference? not that I have felt or seen yet. It was night and day on the old one though. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

2006 Defender 110 Td5 USW Zermatt Silver
You won’t notice much difference if it was all working ok, but it does stop all that sticky crud going into your engine.

On my last Td5 I removed the cooler, but on this one I’ve left it just incase MOT rules become tighter.

I have a couple of ideas on ICE upgrade, yeah another one Rolling Eyes
I am really toying with the idea of buying two radios ( one for the 306) and moving the rear speakers from the wood plate form and adding them into pods. Just to tidy the interior Smile
Also i am looking at changing the door cards to black due to the driver side one been damaged.
I am toying with the idea of repairing the black dash part too thats got two screws in, But going to see what ££ i have spare at the moment. To push forward. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

My rear mud flap as rotted off so I have had to remove the other one, The previous owner had changed the driver side one but not the other. Reason been it would have needed redrilling and new rivets put in! So I have my pal sort the drilling out while he is on backs and I am on days. I have just bought a rivet gun. so that will be sorted soon.
Also I have a fault with the rear brake light too, so I have ordered off new units. As I think something has rotted off. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

But one step at a time, fix what proctas knackered 1st. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

well its not the rear door loom, so looks like could have bad contacts on the replacement holders Rolling Eyes
So I have ordered genuine land rover ones this time! To see if this sorts it, if not its an auto sparkie Shocked

looks like the rear door loom has had some 3 party stuff done, I will need to make a loom up for the earth for the top light, Which isn't a bother. But that's the least of my worries at the moment! Shocked Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
