Looking for a standard galvanised front bumper for the project, possibly even a military spec one with the pin and cut-out.
Preferably in northern England. Tom @tditomprice 100” Defender Hybrid 2010 Alaska White 90 HT |

They're available new from Paddocks for about £60 and they're really good quality. I bought one and painted it black:

The military one is part # rrc3508. The older stock are galvanized, but the newer ones seem to be painted black (not sure if they are galv underneath).
I have one, very pleased, has a recovery/hitch in the centre. Mine was Galv but i painted it black. Having the small "A Bar" for the spot lights means I can't get the Std recovery pin in from the top tho ![]() Click image to enlarge Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Mine was under £100 IIRC... they seem to be a bit steeper at the moment... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

That's a smashing job LandRoverAnorak ![]() I've been through quite a few new std bumpers over the years, and despite my ritual OCD Dinitrol treatment on the inside they all look worse for wear after a short time. I was contemplating buying a black powder coated stainless steel bumper, but looking at your painted galvanised bumper I might just change my mind ![]() What level of prep did you do, and what was your chosen finish? And apologies for hijacking the thread (a bit) ![]() |

Cheers Darren - much appreciated
![]() Great thread, but the wider content has distracted me in many ways and will inevitably cost me money ![]() |
