I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the benefit to the drag co-efficient
The recess is part of the defender look, wouldn't be the same with some fancy colour coded flush cover, far too modern! I have the rear speaker enclosures from the maker of Defendoors I went for the 6x9 option, like you say much better than the LR originals, shame they don’t make them anymore 2005 90 XS 1954 86'' Series 1 tilt |
