I change my battery without reprogramming anything.

If you don’t often use the key in the lock they can become seized. You can get lock grease that can prevent this happening. Unless somebody has changed the door handle/lock. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html
