Spring Cleaning
Yesterday we were lucky enough to have no customers for our off road course, so time for a spring clean.

The mud has built up inside from all the customers, so it was time to remove the footwell rubber matting and give everything a good clean.

We actually used the hose to rinse out the whole of the floorwell.

This is the cleanest we have even seen the cab area!

First time trying out the Buzzweld CIO
So as part of the spring clean process we decided to clean up the chassis and the rear cross member.

The buzzweld cio paint really does a great job.

It’s just a shame that the spray heads of the cans seem to get blocked all the time though!

Decided I might need a little protection for the rear end, so got some nice bumperettes. I wasn't too keen on the powder coat finish so I had them sprayed at Rhino Linings and I think they did a great job. Not everyone's taste I suspect but it should keep them looking nice for good while.

Managed to get a nice little drive out too on a glorious spring day!

Good stuff.

Would have been even better if you were travelling at 90 mph.

Love the switches console from Mud Stuff. Very nice console for original switches. Looks like it’s part of the dashboard.

Took the Ninety to collect four NRC7578 wheels that I painted last September, with new Goodyear Wranglers just fitted.

Correct wheels and correct paint colour (Ivory White) to go on an early (1984) Ninety CSW.

Despite allowing six months for the paint to cure, the Garage still managed to chip it. Sad

They look good and those must be the AT Goodyear pattern? I’ve seen a few people fitting these recently.

I’m just now having my wolf wheels painted, I’ve gone for Alpine White which I’m hoping is correct for my 2014 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

Nothing very exciting, checked fluids, greased and oiled the clutch pedal and acellerator.

Greased the steering column shaft UJ as best I could.
How is the best way to do this? Is it supposed to have grease nipples? Or apply using a needle tip type grease gun attachment?
I could feel a hole each side of the UJ spider, other than that nothing to go on as there is no way you can tell if they are threaded in that location.
Or is it a sealed for life type UJ? Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

And we can guess why that is. Twisted Evil

Thank you for confirming though, thought for a minute there I might have had another stray nipple! Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️
