Reversing sensor kit recomendation
I know this has ben covered before in the past but after S.H.M.B.O. reversed into a new Disco causing over £1000.00 damage to the Defender, new rear door, wheel carrier, hinges and on the insistence of the insurance company a new spare tyre. I'm looking to fit sensors to it after it has been repaired.

What I'm looking for is something that is easy to fit as I'm still recovering from major surgery, minimum drilling and works .

I would fit a rear view camera but as she is unable to use all three mirrors when reversing adding something else for her to look at would just cause more confusion. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

£20 off ebay. Inch perfect. No need to spend more, all more or less the same.

Not on my Defender because that came with a reversing camera. Have put a couple of kits onto work pick-ups though and never had an issue or spent over £20. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Reverse-Rear-Pa...SwUwlbBC0w

Not an easy fit, would require brackets fabricating or drilling holes in the rear crossmember. Don't make old people mad.

dgardel.

Can I ask if it came with the brackets, did you drill the outside corners if not is the adhesive still working? Don't make old people mad.

no brackets inside the kits.

The adhesive it's very strong, installed mine on 2010-2011 with the adhesive, never had problems, also with the high pressure washing...

I made myself the centrals sensor brackets (screwed on existing NAS step small plate/mounting points)

This is a late 2018 pic
