Thanks to all for this thread, especially Brian for your extra tips and advice. I'm really chuffed with the results... and double so now the price of this has gone back up on Amazon Shocked

It took roughly an hour in total to fit which included the DAB antenna, mic and USB cable... I have to confess I did have a little bit of help from someone far more capable than me so don't ask me any complicated questions if you're thinking of doing the same Laughing

I went for green lighting and an LR background Thumbs Up

I'm just running a cheap JVC just for now. (Which is surprisingly good sound quality!)
My old flip out unit didn't look as much as it belonged in a Defender as that one.
Too much silver buttons, green lettering but also a blue light you could get rid of and not glossy either of course. ____\We|Will|Win/___

how much is that? as I am after an upgrade for the Peugeot, the one I have in is acting itself. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

hi

can anyone clarify the difference between the AVH-Z7000DAB and the AVH-Z7100DAB? Pioneer own compare shows them as identical!

One other question on the 2 din kits.

Some buttons move to the side panel; fine..

Why do the side panel modules all have a round section - whats that for??

it takes a 52mm gauge. I've put a volt meter in mine.
