This would be illegal in France because it does block the way to the warning light switch.

The device also would work without the display extended, i presume?

I called Pioneer UK and they had no knowledge of any release of this product. Only the current product that they do currently sell which is physically similar but without all the new apple features. They said to me that updates tend to follow about 6 months behind the US. Time will tell. If I purchase I will be re locating the switches to the cubby box. This will allow for my even more future product of fitting double din panel to allow fiitment of my amateur radio transceiver. .

Don't know why but I can't get the link, it keeps coming up as:
This site can’t provide a secure connection www.carplaylife.com uses an unsupported protocol. ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH And when you click 'DETAILS': Unsupported protocol The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite. Any ideas? |

Looks like it is here, appears to be called the AVH-Z7000BT and is available at a few retailers, limited information as yet. A few YouTube videos popping up.
