The horse riders who ride their horses on the very tight single track country lane near my house side by side and then the said horses decide to simultaneously crap on the road (side by side), thus making it impossible for me to manoeuvre to avoid getting horse crap on my wheels, which is then flung up all over the side of my defender, not one side but both sides. To add insult to injury it is invariably just after I have given it a wash. Big Cry 2016 Defender 90xs SW - Santorini Black with Silver Pack

The contents of the 16 slice box of Dairylea cheese slices have reduced in weight from 280gm to 250gm - more than 10% - but they have kept the box the same size, so it is not obvious. Read the very small print.

Bah.

We eat Laughing Cow Cheese and they are still at 280gm for the 16 slices. Ditch the Dairylea. Laughing Cow is the way forward Thumbs Up Cheers Simon

Not quite. I have deserted Dairylea now, in favour of the smelly French Eurozone Laughing Cow, whose slices remain at 280gm per box, for the same price.....

OldhamLandy - Just a reminder, this is the 'grumpy' thread and thus happy smileys or what ever the damned things are called shouldn't be allowed. Neutral

Apologies, my grumpy mask shall never slip again.

How about tosser builders who are working next door and think it is their right to park their works van all day in the same spot and block the vehicular access point to and from my house and my neighbour's house, despite me asking them not to on more than one occasion Evil or Very Mad 2016 Defender 90xs SW - Santorini Black with Silver Pack

Effink Grumpy People!!!
What is it with some folk? Such miserable faces and a smile seems so hard for them to raise!

When I go shopping etc locally, without fail, everyone I meet will at least say "Good Morning" or "Howist" etc.
However, walking up to the dentist in Kendal town centre I didn't see one single smiling face - not a one - and everybody ignored each other avoiding eye contact at all costs!

I looked down and said "Hello pup!" to a ladies dog that was on a long leash - well, you would think I'd just offered to sh4g it by the look on the miserable cows face Shocked

Is life really that bad?? SWMBO reckons I'm like Crocodile Dundee cos' I'll have the craic with anyone Thumbs Up (oops sorry - Sad ).

And small print on TV adverts which obviously they have to put there for legal reasons (or why bother?) but they put them in condensed type and flash them for a time not long enough for miseries like me to read them.

I have been damaged psychologically in my desperate failures to read this small print, and I demand no win no fee lawyers to take up my case and those of others.

Maybe I have Pee Pee Eyes? Sad

Badly dubbed foreign tv adverts peddling stuff to a UK audience but shot in locations that look a bit like the UK but are clearly not and so just a bit 'off'. Steve.

Its worse when they do it on the radio!

Makes the adverts 5 mins long with someone wittering on so quickly you cant understand them anyway! Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Light bulbs - why do modern old-style bayonet bulbs (a) last so little time and (b) invariably blow the fuse when they fail?

In the old days (before Europe messed up our lighting) light bulbs lasted for years, and when they failed they just went out. Now they last weeks and fail with a blinding flash that blows the fuse! Makes me mad!

And don't get me started on "energy efficient" bulbs that take an age to come on, and fill your home with mercury vapour if they break.
