We check several 5 / 7 day forecasts to try and plan ahead. A typical example of what gets my goat is this:-
5 day forecast - Monday to Sunday - on Monday it says Tuesday will be fine all day. Tuesday 7.00 a.m. forecast changes and says it's going to rain (which it does). How the feck can they even claim to offer a 5 day forecast when they can't get the next 24hrs even remotely right?? You hear the pathetic things like "it isn't an exact science". Well that's fine but state "This is our best guess based on looking out of the window" and certainly don't demand even more super-computers to make forecasts more accurate - cos' it won't make any difference at all! Wish I could have a job where I could get it wrong time after time but still claim a salary. Freakin' oxygen theifs!!! |

They won't leave anything lately due to people out there that keep making goodie two shoes complaints.
Not genuine one's but those that like to do so for the sake of it. I'm not saying you are at all by mentioning this, just saying in general. We had a neighbour who reported our postman for taking post back to the office when every time the postman went to deliver he was actually out! What did he think he was going to get his own allocated delivery at xx time? ![]() Another problem with us is we have a postbox instead on the gate, and thus can't take any packages that aren't much bigger than a book. So often get a 'it's too big for the letter box'. Normally most of the time they are quite good but what does tick me off is actually waiting for something specifically and you expect it to be a rough time. Then it varies, one day 11AM the next 12:30 the next 3pm. |

Im sorry (and not at you as anything Royal Mail annoys me!)...They do leave things, all the time...especially when the contract RM have with a company requires a certain speed.
Equally they leave things in stupid places when they are allowed to free think. Regardless i gave them an instruction with my mail and they are required to follow it, its not like they insure or acknowledge lost items anyway! so what does it matter Ill stop before i get going again ![]() ![]() |

They haven't got that option with ours as they are permanently locked out.
![]() It's either, postbox or door bell hand over from the gate. Other than that no other option. I've had couriers not RM throw a parcel from the gate onto the lawn some 6ft ![]() |

I must be lucky as I have a postie who has a brain, when he first started on our round I had a chat with him and told him that if thing are to big to put through the letter box he had my permission to leave with one of two trusted neighbours which he has done for the last five years.
Yesterday I had a shock when one of the worst courier companies delivered two expensive items, neither had damaged boxes or looked as if they had been used for footie practice. ![]() ![]() ![]() We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to ![]() Richard |

I have a 2011 110 XS in mint condition and very low mileage. I was cleaning my car (i know) when i noted groups of white spots coming thru the paint work.. I took it into Beadles of Sidcup. i had a month of warranty left so they took photos and sent the claim off... after chasing them up weekly they said that it would not be covered jog on.... After arguing with them the garage offered to contribute to a respray of the roof but only using their workshop at a ridiculous price....(I think i could of had the whole car resprayed for the money they were asking)
has any one else experienced this problem and such poor customer relations ? |

Not having the best of luck at the moment..
Pick up a nail on the way into work. Slow puncture so got to work and changed it at lunchtime to the spare, which I then discovered was on a different offset modular than the rest. Drove it to my parents house and immobilised it, changed over to the Td5 (also picking up my ramps that my boss had asked to borrow this weekend) Then drove the Td5 back to my house on the other side of Kent and went to bed. Got up this morning and got into the Td5 and it turned a hand full of times then trailed off and died - dead battery So left the ramps in the back, got on the train, which arrived at Ashford and sat there for 20 minutes because the connecting train was delayed. Got to work late at 8.45 having left home originally at 6:45. Grumble Grumble Grumble... The contents of the 16 slice box of Dairylea cheese slices have reduced in weight from 280gm to 250gm - more than 10% - but they have kept the box the same size, so it is not obvious. Read the very small print.
