Richard Curtis was the main driving force in establishing Comic Relief in 1985 along with a young Lenny Henry. So why has not Curtis been knighted, all he has received is a CBE, of course Curtis unlike Henry is a very funny man who writes good comedy. Of course another reason why he may not have been knighted could be because he is best mates with the champagne socialist Ben Elton who gives working class folk a bad name, so don’t get me started on that unfunny stand up comedic ‘bit political’ idiot. Maybe he's not been knighted because he takes the mickey out of the royal family's ancestors in blackadder. Ray

Why do we have to have Strictly and Slump factor year after year after year with no say in the matter.

I'm totally peed off with all these competitive reality programmes.
How long before we get 'Strickly come toe-nail clipping'? ......................................˄................... I think that's the way it's spelt. ![]() ![]() |

I have always fancied watching a programme where the TV production involves various brands of paint Dulux, Crown etc. being painted on a square piece of wood and we could watch them dry and each week the slowest to dry is voted off. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

I don't think we should be so harsh on these strictly come , X factor celebrity type programmes , well in my house it's memsaab's relaxation type , feet up cheeky glass of merlot and lots of ooohhh and aaaah and the telly , means I can enjoy reading the forum without being interrupted !

Ahh! Memories of exciting TV in the past, gone now is the pleasure of watching the Test Card for hours on end on a wet afternoon. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Blimey Steve I remember those films, there was one with brightly coloured injection moulded buckets being made with a narration, that takes me back to the sixties?
