Leaking door
Hi does this door seal look the correct way around, I keep having leaks and it occurred to me the ridge is on the outside channeling water into the door seal?
Thanks

Looks like the seal between the windscreen frame and bulkhead, just below that there is a gutter which collects rain water and lets it just drop off onto the door right where it curves out. Could be wrong?

edit: looks like they are at the same level

edit: nope

I'd say it was either the wrong way up or something because as you say that will just catch water and channel it in to the door.

I've just tried to find pics of split doors and none of the pics had a seal with a lip that went up on the outside like that.

All I recall is that the doors had a galvanised bevelled strip along the join of the top and bottom of the door but do not remember any rubber strip For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

I'm sure it's designed to angle the door top back slightly, just seems odd the lip is on the outside would have thought it should be the other wAy around, think I will buy a new set and try them the other way

Cheers
