Another package arrived today and with the recent thefts in the area I need to add this to my already large list of defence, although according to their website it won't fit an aircon dash so we will see how that goes

Looks good
I fitted the catch then took the catch off mine, found I didn't use it and it didn't rattle. |

I figured I'd fit it or it would just get consumed by the black hole that are my garages

Gave her a good wash and wax today before the bad weather kicks in, so it's hopefully a bit more protected over winter. Im determined to wire up the heated screen and mirrors this year but I'm running out of time fast

After fitting the twin wiper mod the pressure of water coming out was a little lacking so after looking around the net I'd decided on a disco 2 headlight washer pump which supposedly has more umph but as Paul mc pointed out it was going to need its own circuit as it draws more power so I got one anyway only to find the pipe diameter was also a lot bigger, so in the end I decided on a new standard rear pump. Thanks to a previous owner the proper plug had been cut off the wiring and then bodged terminals back on so Paulmc came to the rescue again with supplying the right plug

Yet another front sidelight bulb gone this morning so I got fed up and took a trip over to bolt on bits for a pair of these.

Got fed up of seeing this
Click image to enlarge So bought these genuine panels Click image to enlarge And I've decided I don't want them corroding again so I've dropped them off at the powder coaters to get them blasted, zinc coated, then powder coated and when I get them back they will get painted, properly sealed to the car then dinitrolled so I hope I won't need to do that job again Ray |
