| g-mack Member Since: 07 Jan 2014 Location: northumberland Posts: 1967    | cured a few squeaks today. first was to change serp belt tension-er bearing. it was pretty goosed when i took it off!, and also found source of another annoying squeak which turned out to be oil cooler pipe rubbing against bonnet stay bracket!! My 109 thread

| g-mack Member Since: 07 Jan 2014 Location: northumberland Posts: 1967    | sick of spending money trying to find booming issue, i decided it was time to spend on a mod! so cheap as chips DRL bumper conversion.
 used ring auro lights off ebay £30 some surrounds to bolt to bumper £15 total outlay £47!! the rings were second hand but never installed!, still in sealed packaging   the surrounds made it easier to finish, as i was using a grinder to cut bumper i had no way off getting a good cut! they come on when engine starts, dim 50% when lights are on and stay on 20 seconds after engine switched off.
