I'll cross that bridge when I come to it Laughing but unless you need to remove the inner panel that bolts to the door frame it should not be too bad a job.

After doing the floor / arch's of my 110 last weekend.... once it goes down, I can't see you getting it up easily. Not a bad thing of course but just a warning to get it right first time Smile Cheers,

Gavin- I cut a square sheet and stuck it in place of the LR cheap sound deadening Laughing then i just done little bits on the shaped parts of the metal piece mainly to stop vibration Thumbs Up You can plonk it on how you liek as it will do the same job just i like to keep it neat Thumbs Up CSK Automotive

Been reading this thread with interest as about to sound proof my td5 double cab. Really it's getting rid if the wet naff carpet with the wright off road kit to smarten it up and improve practicability front and rear so seats etc has to come out.

The sound proofing is a welcome benefit however after reading this wondering if I should dynamat as well if so where and how much. I realise its a where do you stop however interested to see what people think would be reasonable and worth while without spending a fortune (I already have on the matting)

I would say soundproof the front floor and seat box, also the middle row floor and seat box, a bit on the door inners and job done Thumbs Up You could always go for Dynadeck instead of carpet as it doesnt absorb water and have a nice grained finish to it Thumbs Up CSK Automotive

Nice job! Im doing my 90 td5 at the moment. I have just removed the panel on the front door on the drivers side. Should i take off the plastic insulation or just cover the door as it is now?

Thumbs Up thank you, strip off the original door shredder and you can replace it with Dynaliner Thumbs Up or take it off carefully, dynamat behind and replace Mr. Green CSK Automotive

Just lined my roof with 3mm Butyl sound deadening and insulated with this stuff, 10mm closed cell foam is it worth adding another layer ?

Only used about half the roll and I have aanother full roll as well

waiting for alloy tape to seal it all up

That is a great job you have done there Les. I doubt a second layer is going to do very much more for you than the first has already. Can you use the extra roll anywhere else in your 90?

Yes still got the sides to do, tub etc but didnt use as much as I thought I would Laughing
