TD5 rocker gaskets.
My understanding there are two gaskets available, early one and a later one.
What are the differences?
I am still chasing the oil leaks and yesterday after a 40 min drive I popped the bonnet to check for leaks and spotted a tiny wisp of fumes coming from the rear of the rocker gasket.
Which got me wondering if the later gaskets have a slightly bigger half moon section? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Earlier td5 gaskets do have a smaller Half moon section if you've fitted the earlier type it will leak like anything !

IIRC the rocker cover bolts have to be torqued down to about 7 ftlb, which is not very tight, if you over tighten them the gasket will deform and you will get leaks.

I like the gasket sealer idea though...
