Tdci
Hi all anyone know what can network the tdci runs on and if anyone can do a analogue to can interface

Looks like that is analogue gauges to can sensors

It is a standard high speed CAN linking the engine control unit to the instrument pack module.

So should the can signals be the same as the can signals that the td5 engine uses. What I am asking is would the td5 ecu connect with the tdci dash

Off the top of my head, the only CAN on a Td5 was on Discovery2 using the ZF autobox.

No CAN on Td5 Defender, everything hardwired.

Only CAN on Puma Defender is HS-CAN between Engine ECU and Instrument Pack (and OBD socket)  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Hi Martin if you look at the pin out diagram for the red plug on the ecu it shows there are a can pos and a can neg

I have got a list of PIN numbers on my PC it says I think it's 34 and 30 (or up that way some where are can inputs outputs) I will have to check which ones for deffo when I get in my pc later

Quite hard, TD5 have not CAN....

Give that man a buiscuit just looked through and yes it is a discovery 2 CAN high pin A35 and CAN low A32.

Back to the drawing board.
