So its not just me!
I just thought it was odd that none of the previous responses gave it a mention. Smile '57 Defender 110 XS Station Wagon 2.4tdci

the heated windscreens internal elements?

Mine are external, which I believe is how our dealer managed to break them Evil or Very Mad Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Big Cry
My new to me truck has a replacement heated screen, but it seems the installer trimed off the leads because the truck wasn't originally equiped with a heated screen. There is less than 1/8" visible at the rubber gasket. Is there any chance of finding a flat tape-like lead to soilder on? Are there individual wires within the tape or is it just a single flat element?

Thanks - I think it's my real home...the sojourn in the RRS was just an itch I had to scratch.
