Interesting stuff, so let's re cap on what we have learn so far
1. You can buy led number plate lights. 2. They have been know to fail after a few months! 3. You could also buy a replacement led bulb to fit the existing unit rather then splash the cash on a led placement unit. So what do you do if you number plate light is actually broken? ![]() 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

If you want to change the existing ones go down the commercial vehicle route ive got a couple of small led no plate lights on my Ifor and they have been on there 5 years + check out truck and trailer components or any commercial vehicle parts company, there are some good ones that show red to the rear and white over the plate. There are some super led marker lights out there now tiny in size very bright white front red rear and yellow side all in one unit. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

I put a pair of these in mine last April and have no problems to report. The colour of the light is spot on and they light the plate nicely.

bpman-I don't want to put the mockers on your choice, but I'm not sure that those are going to work too well. They've only got one led on each side, meaning that to get one to shine down through the lens onto the plate, the other is going to be shining up into the enclosure, so they might not produce much light and it will probably be quite directional. The ones I bought have got 5 of the same 5050 SMD chip leds on including one on the end, so you get quite a lot of scatter resulting in quite even light all over the plate. I'll be interested to hear how these work out when you get them fitted. Derbywill- ![]() |

I think the only list Ive ever seen for the Puma was either in the manual, or was a loose paper supplement which came with the manual.
