I've not heard of this happening today block that's 16yrs old?? I can't get a very good picture as it's under the exhaust manifold. I need to remove the turbo and the manifesto see it. I've ordered a cheap flexible camera to see if I can get a better idea before I start taking bits off. So I can put better photos up then. I wonder if I can put a stitch bolt in to plug the hole. But if it has rusted then it could be weak in the whole area. It would be nice if I could find someone local that would confirm it for me. I'm going to have to remove the bits in the way. And I'm going to have to sort some transport for a while. (The line in the red circle is coolant leak) Click image to enlarge

I'm thinking it's rusted. Do you think it could be 'plugged'? Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge

How easy is the turbo to remove as it's in the way. I would rather not take off the exhaust manifold for obvious reasons. I may just be able to reach with the turbo out of the way?

I would stick some milliput. It adheres very well even to moist surfaces. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black
