I've always gone for the LR extended warranty on this and previous LRs. Be careful to choose the Extended full warranty and not the Select version which is designed for higher mileage LRs and doesn't cover everything in the "Full Fat" one. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S
Gone: Defender 90 HT 200Tdi, Discovery Sport, Freelander 2 Insta: wizzardprang |

Easy decision, go for the full Land Rover warranty, the others are cheaper because they do not cover as much, especially the labour charge.

Never run a modern vehicle without full warranty.

Given it’s a JLR product I’ve gone full warranty with LR Assist. Usefully, there’s a 0% APR monthly payment option if you don’t want to shell out the full amount up front.
Some say it’s an expensive way to pay for repairs that may never be needed so they self insure by putting away an equivalent sum annually in an instant access savings account or even Premium Bonds. 23.5MY 90 V8 Carpathian grey |
