So after some heavy rain last night and despite most of the car being under a carport the 110 had some water in the passenger footwell. Not the first time and only happens if the rain is particularly heavy so its been low priority.
I was thinking as one of the actions to minimise this I would try and keep the water from getting in the engine bay near the wing joint to the Bulkhead. I notice on the drivers side there is a little rubber strip to keep water away from the ABS block. Does anyone know the part number of name of this so I can get one to put on the passenger side also? 2015 Puma 2.2 110 XS Utility Station Wagon - 2024 - Present 2004 TD5 90 XS Station Wagon - 2019-2024 2003 TD5 90 G4 LE - 2009-2010 1990 Ninety 6.2 V8 Station Wagon - 2006-2009 |

Is this the rubber strip you are looking for:

I lashed up something similar to that "seal" from self adhesive draught excluder 😎
I'll try to get a picture tomorrow |

Mine had those strips on, but I also cut a piece of old mudflap and placed/jammed in over the top of the ABS unit. It’s keep it dry.

I have come to the conclusion that if you like older cars you need a garage (multiple car garage obviously). Apart from protection from weather exposure it also makes working on them much much easier.
I know that this is not much advise to anyone that simply does not have access to a garage, but maybe you can postpone owning a nice classic till you have access to a garage to avoid the frustration. Modern-ish cars are much better standing outside in the rain. |

Anyone got a pic of this front wing seal installed? Either factory or a DIY solution.
