Not in but for...
Went to see the nice people at DDS Metal Services in Coventry to pick up most of the new doors. Had some thoroughly interesting conversations with them and there was a Dutch registered Series 1 Station Wagon in the car park to ogle. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper. Fitted toughsystem drawers a while back and now a tote for extra storage out the way. Tote can just be unclipped which is handy when im taking a few tools in and out and draws are attached using custom brackets on existing factory holes.

Thanks thought someone else might find it useful. It only overhangs the wing abit and gives some useful extra storage. Makes tools, recovery gear etc easy to grab especially if you have lots of stuff in the back like I do alot.

After jet washing the life out of the chassis last week and leaving it to dry, I took advantage of the hot weather to Lanoguard it ready for another year. It was done last Autumn and still looked great underneath.

Changed engine oil and filters, fuel filter, and oil in diffs, gearbox, and transfer box. Greased all props and ball joints whilst under there.

Tightened the contacts in the main relay and fuel pump relay bases.... They were very slack!
Applied Captain Tolleys to the windscreen / bulkhead seal |

A tip run and checked clutch fluid after swapping the slave. Looking good, fluid level has not dropped.
However, I did spot some coolant had dribble passed the coolant tank cap:-( New cap on order. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
