Hi James
The fuel filter will self bleed if you run it straight away and keep cranking when it cuts out. For sudden black smoke I'd check the turbo/intercooler hoses haven't collapsed, and also the intercooler might need washing out. Heya all,
Forgot to reply to this duh. I changed the lift pump, set the valve clearances no difference. My dad suggested remove the air filter id recently fitted, and boom that was it! Not sure if it was a manufacturing error or what but the mahle filter was severely limiting airflow! I have an aftermarket ITG one in there now and its much happier! thanks James |
