Apologies if this is a hugely obvious question - but are you fitting them with the corrugated tubes to the windscreen going down inside the ducting grommets (bungs)? So that the rubber is on the outside?
And again, apols if too obvious, but they’re not bungs as such - they are where the hot air comes from - but maybe that’s just a question of terminology. I can’t say I’ve ever had any particular issue doing this - apart from finding that the tubes can be just a little bit short. I’ve tried both ways - fitting the tubes into the grommets, then up onto the demisters, or the other way round. I can’t really say whether one way was any easier than the other. Maybe some pics if it continues to be a problem? That’s interesting - where did you get that one?
I can’t do anything complicated like screenshots on this device (iPad) - I’m sure the iPad can, just that I don’t know how….. I went to LrCat (Google ‘new lr cat’) and on the same diagram, that part is listed as a grommet. Not that any of this matters or helps. Try fixing the pipes to the demisters first, then see if you can get the pipe into the grommet/bung at the back first, and then work your way round both sides teasing the grommet over the end of the pipe.
