Loose cable behind stereo?
Hi, I am not sure if I have managed to dislodge this cable while installing a RCA cable from rear member
for a reverse camera.

It’s white with black sleeve and seems thicker than any other wires!

Here’s a photo

It’s a 2014 crewcab.

That looks like a coaxial cable - if it is it has a central conductor and is surrounded by a thin braided wire sheath. Typically used for an antenna or a AV cable. Can you follow the cabe to see where it goes? It doesn't look 'factory'.

That does indeed look like Coax cable, typically some kind of antenna cable. _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

Is it not the aerial for the alarm remote?

Mine has a similar wire there.

In fact you can see it in this picture from when I changed the wiper spindles earlier in the year.

On a 2014 it probably is the alarm aerial. The obvious suggestion is for the OP to trace the other end of the wire and see what is connected.

Here's a link to a post about extending the remote aerial cable to extend the central locking range.

It certainly looks like the identical white cable & it appears the end of the cable would originally have been connected to a clip under the dash.
