New exhaust yesterday Thumbs Up

Gone is the rowdy Griffin (single centre bullet) exhaust and in goes the Alive (centre and end) cat back system.

Silence is golden Mr. Green Sad to hear the growl has gone, but no more drone or buttock vibrations (the bad sort) Thumbs Up

Lovely deep exhaust note, but subtle. The dogs are very very pleased...

Gave mine a good thorough jet wash yesterday after the Mudmaster event at the weekend there. In workshop and up on ramp today for a check over and grease etc.

Have some snazzy new mods getting delivered tomorrow. Will post up on here Very Happy

Well some of the new snazzy parts arrived today ... however ... I noticed the water pump is leaking Mad new one ordered and will get that done first before fitting the new mods.

Engine oil change and fitted a set of mudstuff seat rails to the passenger side. Now just the drivers side to do. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Finally sorted the install of standard suspension, anti roll bars fitted too. Then re-installed original tow bar. Even dragged the D2 in and changed the trailer plug for a 13 pin one. A job I’ve been putting off for 3 years. No idea why. It was all swapped and changed in 20 minutes.

Now for smaller tyres for the 110. Thinking of going for 265/75 K02’s. Had them previously as 285/75.

Good job Thumbs Up Been thinking about shrinking down from 285 myself. Thinking about going all the way down to 235/85/16.

I do very much like the KO2s as well. The current set have been spot on, but I shouldn't have gone 285, hey-ho.

What rims have you got fitted? Look like the offset Nakatanenga ones.

They’re the 0 offset wolf style wheels supplied by 4x4 tyres.

Ordered the K02’s and they’re here already. Booked in to swap on Friday.
