Yes, very simple fit. The LED cluster is mounted in a standard bulb base so it's a straight swap, and at £15 for two, I didn't think they were too expensive.

There brighter but you need clear lenses as they are designed for clear
A lot of people misunderstand the colour choice for an LED bulb. A red LED will work better behind a red lens than a white LED! An amber LED will work better behind an amber lens than a white led! Both colours will work equally well through a clear lens. NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY |

I take it there isn't any problem using them with clear or red lenses? As clearly seeing as the LED's are a better red than the painted filament then they are much more suitable for clear lenses. If however i wasnted to buy the LED's for now and the lenses at a later date surely the standard red lenses would be okay for the time being along with the red lenses? Or would it be better to stick to standard unless both bulbs and lenses are changed.

.....that's exactly what I plan to do when they arrive. if i can i will take a piccy of one standard bulb and one LED under a red lense on both tail and brake lights to see the difference. the only reason i am bothering changing to LED is to get a bit more light at the rear, so many new cars are plastered with rear lights and brake lights the puney Defender lights don't seem that bright to me BM52 |

Agree with both of you above. Easy to fit and only £15 for a pair will buy soon. Have any of you got any before and after pics at all that would be good to see?
