We cannot compete with some of the pricing on Thermo top C's you guys find but do have an alternative for Puma mounting which is under the n/s wing on RHD cars using our own custom bracket Thumbs Up

^^ thats my understanding too. i dont want the inside warm, i just want an engine pre warmer. but as i understand it if its plumbed into the the actual heater valvle block if the heater is off (ie on cold) then the coolant wont flow through the webasto?

i intend to fit it between the egr return and the return from to the engine.

ie between the T piece that goes to the engine coming from the heater, and egr return, that way the webasto will have flow regardless of what the heater valve is on.

A - When the heater is ALL OFF the cooling water enter from "3" and go directly to the "4" (no flow on heater).

B - When the heater is ALL ON the cooling water enter from "3" and go trough "2", heater matrix, "1" and, at least, return t the engine circuit "4".

In the "middle" regulation is a "mix" of A and B

is it clear?

Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

When I studied my installation I tried the same possibility also, but no room here for LHD Puma (clutch pedal/pump). Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

um think i've got the wrong dip tube for the tank.

what have you fitted? mines 300 mm long? seems to short.

The loom i ordered from Turkey off Ebay along with a few other bits has arrived. Very good service.

So far i've spent £180. i have a second set of plugs to make another loom.

this is great!

just to say the thermo top C has been in since Sat and i am very pleased with it.

with 9 deg amb and no internal heating, 20mins or just under brings it up to 58 deg or so, i have mine plumbed to heat the block first and it works for what i want.

Airtop has been in for 10 days now (ish) and is working a treat, i may move the air intake (comb side) at one point, but it will suffice for now.

Just to say a big thank you to everyone on here for their help and advice in the fitting, greatly appreciated. Cheers
