Multiple and individual lights
Is it possible to have say LED lights around a roof rack that can be operated singularly and also as a collective? I want to be able to switch my spots on on one switch but then also have them operate when a switch is set to turn LED's, work lamps and side lighting on.

Any advice much appreciated Thumbs Up

Yes you can mate. its all about switches and relays.
How many lights are you talking about.

LED light bar on the roof, front spots on the bumper, side lights either side and work lights at the back.

I'm no expert in vehicle electrics but this would be my thinking.
Install and additional fuse box in the battery compartment.
Install a bank of switches into your cubby box and switch them all separately.
You could then install a relay to switch all front lights on together, I can't see the point of having the rear ones on with the front.

If you want to avoid extra relays etc etc then in line diodes are your friend. They usually come as a 10a black cased unit, a bit like a stubby pen tube with a 6.3mm male blade crimp on one end and a female on tother.

Use them to isolate the LED feeds individually, then just feed them all from a common relay elsewhere, just be careful of the 10a limit (or double them up etc). Do bear in mind they are about 3 inches long so not good for very tight spaces, but fine for trunking.

On my freelander I have my headlight full beam linking into two seperate banks of LED Spots, but these can be also turned on manually. As a third twist, I can also link and unlink the LEDs into the main beam at will.

Thank you my friend. A little way off yet i'm just getting everything down on paper as to how we want it to be. I love your LED bar's especially those colour changing ones, i've never seen those before.
