No. The TD5 has the pump in the tank giving positive pressure in the fuel lines through the filter to the engine. The TDCi has a pump unit on the engine which creates a negative pressure in the fuel line drawing the fuel through the filter to the engine. |

so if i needed to get a fuel supply for a webasto i would need to go straight to the tank then i guess? |

Webastos come with their own feed pump so i guess from the tank may be the way to go.

thats what i was thinking, ones at work seem to warm up a lot quicker than the td5 so i am unlikely to bother but was just wondering

The puma's warm up just a quickly as most modern cars (and like any other tdci ford) so i would say you wont need one.
